Hi,
i own Sony DCR-HC1000 camcorder and iMac Intel Dual Core. The problem is iMovie doesnt recognize the camera. I have tested my firewire cable and it seems to be fine and also my firewire port.
Also wen i connect the camcorder displays DVin on its LCD display. So looks like Camcorder's port is also fine.
I would like to know
1) if you or any one you know have successfully imported video from HC1000 thru iMovie?
2) am i missing something here? if so please help
3) if there is really a compatability problem there is any other software/hardware combination solution which is available that i can use to import my video from the tape.
