import old Apple Mail to new Apple Mail

I had my Apple Mail setup with 5 different email accounts on a Jaguar partition. I now have a different MAC and a fresh install of Jaguar. I thought I could just copy the Mail folder from my old home folder to my new home folder and everything would be imported but it doesn't seem to work.

I still get the dialog box asking me to setup an account. I setup a dummy account and all of the mboxes that I created import but none of my accounts or their mboxes show up.

Is there some a FAQ on this. Is it even possible or do I have to resetup all the accounts?

Did you also copy the com.apple.mail.plist file from your old ~/Library/Preferences? If not, give it a try and post back.

Oh, yeah don't forget your keychain.
 
Nope forgot that preference. I opened it in Property List Editor and saw the account stuff so I will try that.
