I'm having trouble importing files into DVD Studio Pro (it won't see the files in question).

I have Final Cut Express and iMovie. What do I exactly need to export the movies as? I've tried exporting as a Final Cut Express movie - but no joy.

Can anyone help?

export mpeg2 files from final cut and they should go into DVD Studio pro.

Also we were told to import picts for the graphics.

i thought w/ DVD Studio Pro your able to import Mpeg-1 Compliant video. I export as Toast Video CD, but yet I still cant import the Mpg's into DVD Studio Pro. Any suggestions besides converting to Mpeg-2

Sincerely,
Mel

Straight from DVD Studio Pro's help file:

VD Studio Pro accepts MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video. MPEG-1 video is lower quality but takes up less space. MPEG-2 is higher quality and takes a moderate amount of space.

MPEG-2 is the most commonly used video format. You can export MPEG-2 video streams using the QuickTime MPEG Encoder that is included with DVD Studio Pro.

DVD Studio Pro accepts audio streams in these formats: PCM audio (AIFF, SoundDesigner, or WAVE format, 16- or 24-bit resolution, 48 or 96 kHz sample rate, stereo or mono files); MPEG audio (MPEG-1, layer 2 audio, 48 kHz resolution, 32 to 384 Kbps data rate; MPEG-2 audio is not supported); Dolby AC-3 audio.

AC-3 audio is the most commonly used audio format. You can encode AC-3 audio using the Apple A.Pack application included with DVD Studio Pro. See the DVD Studio Pro User's Manual for more information.
