Incorrect screen resolution

Hi,

Last night i connected my Mac Mini (PowerPC) to my HDTV via DVI > HDMI and it worked fine at 1080i but then i tried to put it to 1080p and it change it and the screen went blank and did not return a picture, After i turned it off and connected my old LCD 1024 x 768 monitor and it gave me a picture again as normal.
The thing is every time i connect the HDTV up again it still wont see it as im guessing it has remembered the 1080p setting (to which i have found out now the 32mb card on my Mac Mini cannot handle).
Is there anything i can do to reset on the Mac the HDTV resolution setting it has remembered.

There is also a plist that you can get rid of to remove all of the "remembered" configurations. I don't remember which one it was off hand but maybe someone here could speak up...?
 
I tried that Pram thing but did not work, If anyone knows that plist "remembered" configurations thing that would be great !
