Increasing Airport Sensetivity?

My Airport card is weak compared to my Netgear wireless that I use for my XP laptop. I know for must cards there is a way to tweak how sensetive the card is to 802.11b signals but I haven't found anything like that for Airport.

Is there a .plist file somewhere that I can adjust? Or is there another way of doing this?

Dear All,

The Airport card cannot be modify as such, but you can increase the range the Airport by setting a setting on the Airport BaseStation, if not done so already.

Goto the Airport Admin Utility and in Airport tab, select the Density to Low. This should increase the range of the Airport.

If it is already on 'Low', there is nothing reallly you can do, apart from knock a few walls down :)
