Incredibly happy with my powerbook!

I really am, the ease of use has been amazing. yesterday I went to work with my powerbook, thought about joining the WiFi. Opened up Airport, it had already scanned and picked up the network, and I joined.

Moving files from my PC to my powerbook was easy too. Used two DVD's in total. I have to admit the transferring on Mac OS X is superb. I was transferring 9 artists (consisting for 27 albums, 648 songs) all into different folders within my Music folder, and it did them all, at the same time. No slowdown. I've never managed to do a similar thing like this on my PC.

So now I have all my work on here, well most. Just gotta transfer a bit more.

But I really do like the powerbook.

My only concern is the battery meter, it's not very accurate. Hell the battery lasts 5-6 hours which is great, but I just wish the meter was accurate.

enjoying it I see... If you choose to show the battery duration in percentage, it is more accurate. You can choose (click from the icon on menubar to choose) icon only, time, percent. Any you prefer.

I "can't live without" ... SubEthaEdit. (you find all software you need from versiontracker.com .. ) It does everything I want from a code editor (and it's free). Also Notes 1.3.4 is very good .. unlimited space for your notes (text, pictures etc. Has tabs. And free of course). Oh, a lovely day out ... (see ya later!)
 
You've got a battery life of 5 - 6 hours? That's quite impossible to believe!!! I only manage about 3+ hours on mine. This is not looking at the meter's estimate but actual time.
 
Lol yea my lil sis watched some Disney DVDs yesterday, the powerbook lasted 3-4 hours.

I love it though. Soooo much!
