I have a Unicomp keyboard for my Mac Pro (with OS X.4.11), and everything works well _except_ for two keys on the numeric keypad, + and -, that are inert in some apps. They work as expected in a few apps, such as jEdit and Maple, but not in most, including Terminal, TextMate, Bean (a text editor), Firefox, and others.
The Keyboard Viewer shows that the OS detects the key press, but the message never gets to the app being used. I tried to add then in the Terminal -> Window Settings -> Keyboard -> Add, but they don't appear in the list of keys. Is there a way to insert them? I do know their Unicode IDs: for '+' it is 002B and for '-' it is 002D.
All help/suggestions would be appreciated.
