I was looking in the root of the filesystem and found two files of the same date, iNode81229126 and 5974765. The latter is empty, and the former 808 bytes. Anyone know what these file are from?
Files recovered after an fsck (which OS X will run automatically if, say, your system crashes)? Though I thought these files were stored somewhere else.
It's futile. You can't do case-sensitive searches with Google. The only few things I found relating to this said what Ripcord said: they shouldn't be in the root dir. So why are they there, and can I delete them?
