Thought i would use this chance to make the first thread in this catagory!
I have 5F24 installed on one partition, and i have a 5F24 disc. I was wondering if i could install the newer over the older. I know that these builds are ment to install over the 4K78 version of OSX, but can you install a beta over a beta?
The installer says that it will take less to install 5G24 on the partition with 5F24 than a clean partition, but i know that 4K78 will do the same if you ask it to install over 4K78.
Is the installer just detecting that there are already needed components in place, or is it actually realizing that it is upgrading an OS?
