Install developer tools

Hi !

How do I install the developer tools that i downloaded from
ADC ?

It seems to be a file starting with "package" something but
the Mac OS X Installer does not seem to be able to install it ?

The file you downloaded needs to be expanded, but I've learned from other threads that StuffIt that came with OSX doesn't do the job. Here are the things that I've heard worked for others (the first worked for me):

1. Use 'gnutar -zxvf' and then the filename (i.e. gnutar -zxvf 4.7.19.DownloadSoftware.1.1.1)

2.) Try 'tar -xvf' (i.e. tar -xvf 4.7.19.DownloadSoftware.1.1.1)

3.) Boot into OS9 and expand with the OS9 version of StuffIt.

The file Developer.pkg is double-clickable and should run the installer.
