Well here's a way to install X on Beige G3 It's not possible for everyone I guess but it works. I tried installing on my Beige G3 get the broken folder. Here's the trick if possible take your drive out and put it into a B&W G3 a G4 anything that's not beige anymore fininsh the installation and put the drive back to your beige. It now boots to X w no problems, I couldn't mount my scsi drives though.
