Take a look at this, this is in the Mac OS X install boot app via ResEdit. It seems that these machines need special instruction to boot OS X. Problem is that these strings only seem to work once. If anyone with some programming knowledge could look at this and figure out what it's doing, maybe we could solve this problem once and for all.
