Installer problem

Hey everyone,

I asked my cousin in England to send me a .pkg file from his computer to me via a server. He archived it as a .zip, but when i got it, it contained many different files including files ending with .bin, .INF, .cab, .exe, .ibt, .ini, .inx, .hdr. This made me think they were the installers for windows, but my cousin says that he sent the right file. What are these files and if they are the .pkg contents, how can I install them.
