Installer will not run

Howdy!

I have been trying to correct an issue with my E-mac 1.25 Mhz., 1Gb ram and finally broke down and decided that the way to go was to reinstall the system.
All went fine and 10.3.4 now resides on my drive. I had previously downloaded and reinstalled the 10.3.9 Combo Updater. Now, when I double click on the dmg the Installer starts and dies.

Help, I have to have this system up and running by Monday.

Try downloading the combo fresh. That might do the trick .... I'm basing this on the understanding that you previously downloaded the combo using the previous system and somehow ported it into the new system ...
 
Howdy!

I had saved the updaters on the Desktop in a dmg Folder, I do not understand why a fresh copy would work any better than a copy I have used in the past. Does not the Installer reside on the HD?

I thought I might try to reinstall the Installer using Pacifist. Don't know if it will work or not but thought it might be a faster try than downloading the file.
What do you think? You all know more than I do that's for sure.
