Installing a DVD-R drive?

Hi,

I was wondering whether it's possible to add a DVD burner yourself. I bought a PMG4 733 QuickSilver, and got a Combodrive with it - now I'd quite like to buy a Superdrive for it so I can burn my own movies to DVD, I know that Pioneer are the manufacturers of the drives, and was wondering whether If I could find the model number and order one, would it work if I just replaced the current optical drive with it?

Pioneer DVR-104 or DVR-A04

The above is the drive you want, I'm not sure if that's the actual one used by Apple but it's pretty close and it does work with iDVD, iTunes, Toast and DiscBurner.
