Ok, ok, so I'm @ work in my Wintel environment where I am completely devoid of anything Macintosh, and I decided to download the Darwin 1.4.1 installer for x86 and burn a copy of the image.
My problem is, when I boot off the CD, I get the boot prompt, and after 10 seconds it begins to move. Once it gets to initializing the IDE drives, it hangs, and posts the same message over and over ever 30 seconds or so, reading "still waiting for root device".
Thoughts? Suggestions? What is it that I am not doing properly to get this working??
