Installing MAC OS X

I have a G3, 256M. When I insert the MAC 8.5, it works Ok, but fwhen I put the 10.2 CD in, it says the cd is"ProDOS Utilted Disk", and ask me do I want to instalise the disk. When I press OK, it say the CD is ProDos and not compatible with the system. The same 10.2 CD works on other MACs.
Does Apple support upgrading to 10.2 for G3? Anyone know please reply.

gee chimney, considering that your last set of posts were for how to burn an illegal copy of os x on your pc, i would guess your pc formats cd's for pc's rather than macs. this pirating stuff sure is difficult, isn't it?

maybe you should just go buy os x like you're supposed to.

I did try to press it, but it doesn't help. Do I need to re-set any of my system set up to make it work?

If it was illegal, how could it work other MAC systems?

huh?

maybe the copy you got was designed for a different model. there are different builds for certain models you know. the dmg file you listed before was identified as an illegal copy being distributed thru a website.

as you have previously been notified, we do not assist in pirating here.

Illegal in the term "violating the laws"
