I installed a new Rage 128 video card in my G4 cube (OS X 1.5). The system chimes and starts up, but the Cinema Display stays black (power buttons turn on with startup). When I put the old card back in the Cube, the monitor works (but it still exhibits the problem which led me to try replacing the card: it displays vertical lines and artifacts, after which the system freezes. I bought the Rage 128 assuming that my Cube had shipped with one. However, the card I found inside the Cube was not a Rage 128, but one with an aluminum panel on it (heat sink?).
