Hello All,

Any idea how to get Classic OS 9 working on MacPro running OS X 10.4.8?
I need to install OS 9 into OS X on a MacPro to work with older version of software.

truth be told, the easyest and cheapest way for you to run os 9 apps is to get an older mac that runs os 9 nativtly. if sheepshaver didn't work for you, then your out of luck, as its the only option for intel macs.

Some one please help me, I installed sheepshaver on my mac os 10.4.8, but I can't open it. It gives me and error that I do not have administrative privelages. I don't get it. I want to play tomb raider II on it and I can only use classic environment. Please help me showing me the easiest way to install mac 9 on my mac os 10.4.8. thank you

Does your account have administrative privileges? If so, then you should be able to enter your username and password and it will go through. If not, then you're going to need someone with administrative rights to enter the necessary information for you.

it is my laptop I set it up and I am already logged in so I don't understand why it won't open, it won't even give me the option to enter username and password? Maybe I can download it from somehwere else? Im not sure.
