installing os9 (over 10.1.5)

captain obvious
i want to install os9 (briefly, or maybe on my ipod) in order to install the sims & unreal tournament, both of which are osx compatible only after patches that require an os9 install


doesnt seem to want to boot up from my powerbook software install cd though... any ideas?
 
have you tried holding down the option key while booting? if so have you tried holding the c key down while booting?
