installing tiger

i booted up my osx 10.3 and opened the cd. i double clicked the tiger icon and clicked restart. i went through the installation with no apparent errors. but when i rebooted it just gave me a blank screen. help!

I have a similar problem, when I get done installing it just says please try again. I can sympathize, and i'm sorry I can't help much. However, make sure you have the most current firmware. I have seen that advice a lot, I'm not sure if it will help. Good luck!

I am having a similar problem with my G4....selected "Upgrade" and I received a message indicating it was completed and to reboot, then I get an error that there were errors and I need to reboot. Now it seems to be in a loop, as I get this each time.
