Internal drive not on desktop

Hi, I just noticed that my internal drive is not mounted on the desktop. Everything seems to be ok, running normally, but I'd like to be able to look at the internal drive from time to time, to see what's on it. I opened disk utility to see if it's unmounted and the mount point looks like this "/" is that the problem? thanks, Randy Barlow

Check your Finder preferences from the Finder dropdown menu. The General preferences pane
has a list of what to show or hide on the desktop.
