Internet connection problem

Hi,

Every time I turn on my MacBook or after sleep, I cannot connect to the Internet right away. I have to unplug & plug the network cable a couple of times before I can connect. Can anyone please help?

Thanks!!

How is your network on the MacBook configured -- DHCP, PPPoE, static IP, etc? Which one is used by your modem/router?

Can you describe the network in more detail -- what devices are connected to which other devices, and how? Has the network ever worked correctly, and this is a new development, or has it always acted this way?

Hi, thank you for reply.

It's DHCP. I have a network cable, and there are two ports in the wall, I don't see any devices like modem or router.

I've never had any problems with network, except last two weeks.
