Internet connection problems

Every time I shut off my MacBook I have to do the following to get connected to the internet:
1) Delete preferred network (My home network).
2) Delete AirPort Keychain entries.
3) Add Preferred Network via system preferences.

Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this problem and/or have a permanent solution to the problem?

This sounds like you are accessing multiple networks that share the same name but different credentials. My suggestion is to give a unique name to each network that you control.
