i just got a new ibook g4 (running 10.4.2) and have it directly connected to my HP Pavillion (running Windows ME w/ a USB DSL modem). four nights ago all I had to do was plug in the ethernet cable and i could use internet connection sharing to surf the web on my mac, but now I can't seem to get my ibook to even connect to the web. my HP PAV's ICS settings seem to be the exact same as they were when the connection was working, so I'm turning to you for advice.. perhaps I screwed something up in my network settings with my TCP/IP or DHCP settings (stuff i don't even understand).
