internet Explorer keeps crashing...

Hi!

I have been using internet Explorer 5.2 with MacOS X 10.1 (on a powerbook pismo) for quite a while. All at once now, Explorer keeps crashing ("the application has unexp[ectedly quit") when I try to start it... the Explorer's blueish Startup-Logo-Screen shows up for a second, then the application quits.

I have tried reinstalling the Explorer, and I have also trashed its preferences before... didin't help :-(

Do you guys have any suggestions, or maybe the same problem???

(It was the same with Excel, but now Excel is running again.... seems like I've got a fairly temperamental machine,...?)

Sounds desperate, but try updating to 5.3 (I think it is). Maybe this way it overwrites some essential files which are damaged on your system...

Welcome! You also might consider using Safari or Camino instead.

Safari is 10.2 or later only. But Camino, Firebird, iCab, Links ...
