Internet Explorer won't use Proxies

My company uses Novell Border Manager as a Proxie and it sux. On Macintoh's running OS 8.6 and IE 4.5 I can configure to go online.

I am installing a Test Box with X Server 2.0 I configured the box and IE 5 perfectly but still cannot go online with it.

Apple talk, Filesharing and Netboot all work fine just can't get online.

 
IE 5 has always caused problems with proxies. In 9 I had to disable part of my firewall because it refused to use the proxies I had set. You might want to try one of the other browsers.
