I have a ibook g3 300MHz running os 9.2 and i can't seem to connect to the net via ethernet. Can you please tell me how I can turn off my internal modem and select the built-in ethernet.
I have 2 pc's running through a hub/switch and a d-link dsl 302 modem without any problems. When I connect the correct cables to the ethernet connection on the ibook and the hub/switch no light comes on the hub/switch to indicate a connection. From the research I have done i believe that I need to turn off the internal modem and switch on the built-in ethernet.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
