Internet Sharing problem

Hello...

I'm on panther, sharing my internet connection with my pc via a PCI linksys card.
It works, as long as I don’t have encryption enabled...

So that what I’ve been doing but I look in my network and I have about 60 people leaching off my connection, this is no good.

When I have the encryption enabled the PC just wont connect, it doesn't come and say wrong password it just doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

also i've already tried the shorter encryption to no avail

i had this problem myself. When i turned on a password on my iBook Internet Sharing and on an Airport Express. My PC laptop with WiFi couldn't connect whatsoever until i turned off password and encryption. I haven't solved it to this day, and just leave it with no password or encryption.

yes it does...but my neighbors are nice...i hope...

i believe the password and encryption was the fault...i don't think it was compatible or wasn't the right type...
