internet troubleshooting.

my mom's internet stop working for some reason. the cable modem receives a signal and all that. with OS9, when this happened, i'd delete the TCP/IP preferences, reboot the computer, and it would work. roadrunner "doesn't troubleshoot OSX yet"... is there anything we can do?

How is roadrunner set up? DHCP, PPPoE, Static? Under Mac OS X previous to 10.1 we had trouble with DHCP. We had to switch to another configuration, then "apply" then switch back and apply - every time we booted up. This was fixed under 10.1. If you're not running 10.1 yet - upgrade.

yah, we're running 10.1, roadrunner is dhcp. thanks for helping ^_^
