Inverted Images when dropped into IWEB or Mail??

When I drag a jpeg image that I have edited in Photo shop into IWEB or even OSX Mail the images goes negative (inverted colors). The image looks perfectly fine in photoshop and preview, but goes weird when I drag them into these programs.

Any one know why this happens?? Or how to get around it? It is driving me crazy!!
 
Check that your images are RGB, not CMYK. Many web and email apps (especially MS Outlook), can't display CMYK colour properly. Plus your should be using RGB for the web.
