Ok here is the low down with a few other problem maybe you guys could help me with....
I bought an Iomega HD while on deployment and it worked when I first got it and then it would not read on desktop or disk utility.
Here is the stats on my MAC:
It is an Early 2008 MACBook Pro 15"
Hardware Overview:

Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

One issue I have is one of the memory cards went out and I can not get the Lap top to read a new one. I am guessing this one that does not read is effecting me going through boot up in MHD so I have to boot in BC? Any help here would be appreciated.

My diagnostics always says pass.

I have the MATSHITADVD-R UJ-857E DVD drive that I heard is junk and only works when it wants.

Here is the Serial-ATA:

I was getting an error code like 32 or 36 then the HD showed up and I repartitioned it. It showed the sub part of the HD like it does the MD and BC but now it won't and says there is an input/output error. I included two images for reference. Help please o my deployment I want movies but have nothing to save them to.

Help please.

Are you going to be saving Mac and Windows files on the drive? Also is there any data on the drive that you are trying to retrieve? One more question, whenever you eject your SD cards and the external HD, are you ejecting them properly or just unplugging them.
