Iomega U Zip 250 not seen

I can not figure out why my zip 250 USB drive will not be recognized by osx. Really weird because it sees my usb mouse. Hmmm..... Any help?
 
Insert zip disk and it should mount.. Have you tried that?

I have Zip 250 USB external worked beautifully.. nothing else needed to install like iomega drivers.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem, and have been looking like mad for a solution. Everyone seems to say that theirs just worked... If you find a solution please let me know and I will do likewise.

I had the same problem but I followed the advice posted here by someone else and reformatted by ZIP disk as MAC (it was PC formatted before) and it worked like a charm.
