I have an hp laserjet 1200n hook to my network. How can I change the ip address of this printer? ( or even tell what the ip address is). I have printed out the configuration page but it does not tell what the ip address is.
 
Then maybe it's not set at all... I'd consult HP's website and the manual. If it _does_ have the functionality, it's mentioned _somewhere_ how to set the IP...

The getting started manual for the 1200N - http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/bpl10413/bpl10413.pdf - shows that in order to make it work on your Mac, you simply have to install the software from the CD. It seems to be working over AppleTalk. There's no TCP/IP printing mentioned in the getting started manual. But there are other manuals.
 
I can't believe there is no laser jet utiltity for osx had to boot into 0s 9 to set up ip address. oh well it works. thanks for the laserjet utiltiy address
