Will the Extreme Base Station work with the HP all in ones beyond the printer features? Do other people scan through their network connections (airport or ethernet)?
Does apple want us using only their HP updates/ OS software and not installing drivers from the HP site?
Been using the photosmart 309g for a few months. Happy with it, but not the intermittent scanning connection bugs.
1. Be able to scan through the wireless/ bonjour set up ( or IP printing ) and which set up is more reliable for scanning and printing? LPD, IP or local bonjour?
2. scan directly into photoshop (cs3) using import/twain (as I have for years with past HP products). I can't get that to work despite trying many driver installs and taking them out.
frustrated. Open to feedback.
