Hello all.

Well I bought my iPhone 3 months ago. About 2 weeks after it was released. It's been the best phone I've ever had until now. Nothing will work. Nothing shows up on the screen, no buttons work. It won't even charge up, and when I do try to charge it, nothing shows on the screen and it gets very hot.

I've tried to google some answers, and I found some answers on apple.com/support. I tried them and still no luck. When I try to format it in iTunes, it gives me this error. "Error 1602" Unknown error.

If anyone has any answers I'd greatly appreciate it. It really sucks to pay $500 and have the phone to stop working after 3 months...

1st apple product that has failed me though.

I would call Apple about a replacement - it should still be under waranty, unless you
"bricked" it with one of the unapproved unlocking software solutions.
 
Yea so today I went to the local Apple store and they surprised me and gave me a replacement iPhone. A Brand new iPhone. So I'm happy!

Apple doesn't do hardware repair on the iPod, must be the same with iPhones. They just give you a new one.

(Though they may repair them for resale?)
