iPhoto and Aperture

In finder go to your "username" then to "pictures" where you will see "iPhoto Library", control click to bring up menu, click on "show package contents".
There you will see a folder called "originals" where you will find all your iPhotos. Just copy that folder to your desktop or anywhere you would like.
Now when you are in Aperture or any other program you now will have access to your iPhotos.

Hope that helps.

Ed: Thanks for the reply. But how bout placing photo's from Aperture to iPhoto. I've put most of my photo's in Aperture, but bought an Apple TV and want to import some of the Aperture photo's back to iPhoto to import to my Apple TV. But don't know an easy way to do that. ted

Within iPhoto click on "File" and then "Import into Library", then just navigate to the photos you want to bring in.
Hope that is what you are looking for.
