iPhoto crashing after QT/iTunes 7 update

I updated my QT and iTunes yesterday through the automatic software update and now my iPhoto keep crashing (it was fine before the update). I've tried repairing the database and the thumbnails, but no help. I mention the software update because I've seen references on other sites to the same issue - especially blaming the QT update. Any suggestions, please?
 
When does iPhoto crash? On startup of iPhoto or while working on photos or when browsing through them? Mine doesn't crash after the update. Are you on PPC or intel? OS version?
 
It crashes most of the time when I try to edit a photo within iPhoto or try to view one in full screen. I also tried imorting some photos into another library and then it kept crashing in the middle of the import.

I am on a PPC iMac, OSX 10.4.7.

Still having this problem - any help would be greatly appreciated! I've tried deleting the plist file, but that didn't help. Should I try reinstalling iPhoto (that was usually the answer under Windows!!)? Or what? Thanks.
 
I am having the same problem with iPhoto. Initially I thought it could be Photoshop but after seeing similar comments I think my problem is just with iPhoto. When I try to import pictures into iPhoto or move pictures within iPhoto to make a slideshow, the app. crashes. Several sites are saying the issue is with the latest version of QuickTime. Is this proven to be correct? If so, how do I go about removing QuickTime 7.1.3? I depend on my Mac for work. I need to use iPhoto to pay the bills. This issue is killing me.
