I have a Mac OSX, version 10.3.9 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4.
I quit iPhoto after down loading some photos off my camera, ( something I frequently do), but this time the icon disappeared from the dock. I put the icon back in the dock from the Applications folder.
Now when I try to load iPhoto the page comes up, but stays saying 'loading photos' and the turning wheel, to suggest it's searching.
I tried verifying and repairing the HD in disk utilities. Removing the iphoto icon from the dock, then putting it back in before trying to reload.
I've gone into preferences of iphoto and removed the tick in box for 'look for shared photos.
I removed the file com.apple.iphoto.plist going through the users/library/preferences files.
These seemed to be things other people had done with what appeared to be a similar problem. I thought there'd be no harm in trying.
However the problem still prevails. The iphoto page comes up but stays saying 'loading photos'. I've left it for over half an hour and still nothing... please can you help me restore iphoto and find my photos... thank you...
