Hello - I accidentally moved my iphoto pics to a folder on desktop. Now I photo has been redirected to user,desktop,data,folder,iphoto.. If i search HD I can find photos but it says I have over 10,000 pics now, which is not the case. when I try to open Iphoto nothing happens. I tried to drag folders from desktop into iphoto icon and still nothing. I need to know how to reset the way iphotos directory was minus desktop and get the pics back in there. I'm assuming I will have to do a lot of deleting of duplicates, but don't want to delete anything until I fix problem. Any suggestions

Move the iPhoto folder on your desktop to another location, like your documents folder. Launch iPhoto, does it ask where the library is or to create a new one? Create a new one in Pictures folder if possible and then import your required items without duplicates into new library.
