iphoto on new MacBook is not recognizing camera

I'm posting this for a friend. She had an old iMac (blueberry) and was using her digital camera Kodak EasyShare C360 with iPhoto.
It was working fine, importing, etc.

She just got a new computer-- a MacBook. Now iPhoto isn't recognizing her camera. Does anyone have any recommendations ?
