i burn my photos, from iphoto 6, onto a cd and it looks fine. but when i take the disk to develop or put the disk into my husband's pc, the disk shows each photo 2 and 3 times. they are saved as jpg and jpeg files. i can't figure out how to ensure the pictures are only on the disk as one copy per picture. has anyone had this problem? how to i fix it?

If you use iPhoto's Share->Burn option, it stores the photos as a sort of mini iPhoto library, including Thumbnail/Preview files. This is fine if you're taking them to another iPhoto machine, but useless otherwise.

The better option is to make a folder on your desktop, then drag the photos from iPhoto into this folder. That will export the images, and only the images. Then, just burn that folder.

I think Apple should have made the iPhoto "Burn" option simply burn the images to the disc, as that would have been a better option.
