iPod battery

My iPod battery dies and there is still 2 bars left on the battery gauge anyboby else have this problem.

Every once in a while, that happens with me, too. I dunno what to say... usually happens when I've been switiching songs like crazy...

Yeah, mine does that sometimes. According to the Apple site, there can be various reasons. Like adambyte says, if you switch songs a lot, then that will run down the battery. Also it can depend how you've charged it. Some of the iPod sites recommend that you charge using the power adaptor rather than FireWire connection to your computer if you only want t ocharge it and not transfer music.

There's a problem with that power adaptor-solution, tismey. I play music ALL the time.
If the battery drains I connect it to the nearest Mac and play the song I want...When can I then use the power adaptor. I've used it only twice since I got this thing.
