ipod error 1411

Hi
trying to restore my ipod from mac osx keep getting error 1411
ipod restores ok from pc. Tried drive mode and reformating from mac using disk utility ipod still wont restore from mac

Hi Jack, did you ever got an answer for your Q. I have the very same problem but can't get nothing about 1411 error.

Do you have more than 1 iPod on the same library with the same name?
Then make the names differ from eachother. In my case this helped.
