ipod mac or pc

hi,

when i started my ipod (out of the box) earlier this year, i'm sure it asked me if i was going to use it on a pc or mac.
if this is the case, will it be a problem connecting it to my shiney new macbook as i am sure i said it was to be used connected to a pc on set up.

any help / info will be gratefully received.

That way round you should be alright, the PC will have formatted it to FAT32 which can be read and written to by your new Macbook.
