iPOD Mini - Data backup?

Heys guys does anyone have an IPOD MINI? can i do backups with an IPOD mini? is there any need to change the files extensions or something? i also want to know if there´s problems with the bat., because i heard that when using it for some months the baterie just dies....

I have a 3rd generation white iPod and use it for backups occasionally. You certainly can do the same with your mini. There is no need to change file extensions. Just mount your ipod to the desktop and drag and drop the files you want backed up into a folder in the ipod.

As far as the battery is concerned it should work fine. There have been cases where the battery dies shortly after purchase, but that's why Apple has warranties. I suggest getting an ipod protection plan with your mini if it's bothering you that much.
