I updated my ipod with all my songs and then reinstalled jaguar and now i want to trasfer all the songs on my ipod onto itunes how do i do that?

Versiontracker lists several apps for doing this. Just search for ipod and you'll find some different ones that do the trick.

Apple has built iPods that way to make copying music more difficult. If you want your music copied from your iPod to your Mac, you need one of those applications (e.g. iPod Viewer) to do it.
