iPod Shuffle User Guide

Hmm... If only we could change the date of bobw's post to December 2004, then it would have been a rumour... but still: Yep, nice find! And I think it's Apple General, too. ;)
 
The only really interesting thing there is that unlike its larger brothers, the iPod shuffle doesn't support Apple Lossless Codec (ALC). ALC files are converted on the fly to AAC-128 as they're imported to the iPod shuffle (this doesn't affect the song file in your library though).

Not a big issue, since very few of us are actually using ALC for our library.
 
well 10 songs in ALC would probably fill up the whole mp3 player... not really usefull :p :p :p

but still... nice thing to know... good point :)
