iPod Software Restore?

If you restore your ipod, it will loose all its contents (music).

Can you see it with terminal? Or with another mac?
 
See if you can find some apps that let you download music off your iPod on to your HD. Maybe they can see it, then you could at least get the stuff back off.
 
No not over. Have you restarted your compuer? Does it show up in iTunes? Can Audion see it? Do you get any error messages? Can you hook it up to another computer? What if you started your computer in 9 land? Any clue what was happening before it started acting funny?

Just random questions. Don't give up hope yet.
 
oh man, do i feel dumn, but so relieved at the same time. restarting fixed it. my first restart in a month or so :D haha, thanks man
