How comes Apple is so late to put a software in Software Update that has been out for few months??

Yeah, that's baffling me too. It's the same exact software updater – my iPod is already up-to-date.
 
To remind people there is a product call iPod when they first start up their computers and Software Update! Marketing...?
 
I tried to update my iPod but it was already up to date! But I can not shuffle by Album as it says in the describtion! So maybe they made a mistake with the update number?
 
Something like this! I even restored the software and reloaded my iPod but I still can not shuffle by Album! We have to wait and see until Monday!
 
frank212: You've gone to the "Settings" menu, and pressed the center button while over the "Shuffle" menu item? It should switch between "Off", "One", and "Album", if you've correctly updated to software version 1.1.
